Who do we serve?
Our Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) facility provides unique services for (male and female) children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 who have experienced severe trauma and suffer from emotional or behavioral disorders, such as, Conduct Disorder (CD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).
The facility features a residential capacity of six beds and maintains a staff-to-child ratio of 1:5, ensuring round-the-clock nursing and specialized clinical services, including: behavioral and trauma-focused therapy. Emphasizing a family-centered approach, Shalva Haven provides educational interventions that address the comprehensive developmental, physical, emotional, social, educational, and spiritual needs of its clients.
The overarching aim is to equip children with the necessary skills and thought processes to foster positive interactions across various settings, including family, education, community, and society at large.
